This is a post that will be shown on all pages and in a Block. To do this just create a new post in your Home menu and set it to display on all pages and define a block for it and there you go.

Modules Side Post

This is a post on the side block but only when Modules menu is selected, this is done by simply creating a post in the Modules menu and selecting a block for it to display in.

Modules will extend your site with features like Photogallery and so on. To see an example of these modules in action please just click on the left side on the modules you want.
