For news you can use partial content. To separate the header of a post from the rest of the content just insert a Page Break when you edit the content and that's it. for e.g. here is the end of the header cos here is the break.

 

After the break line you can write as many as you wish just like in other CMSes. If picture is assigned to news first the last image will be shown on the left side, once you clicked the read more all images will be shown but placed on the right side.
